Liverpool Blitz: 4am
A convoy of around 60 ships, both merchant and military, sail into the
port. The night's attack has damaged or destroyed several berths and many
ships will have to wait in the river. Those that enter the dock system are attended to by dockworkers exhausted from the night's
efforts.
