Isambard Kingdom Brunel was a 19th-century British engineer who many people consider a genius. He was responsible for many feats including the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, the Thames Tunnel from Rotherhithe to Wapping, the first screw propeller driven iron ship to cross the Atlantic, and the network of tunnels, bridges and viaducts for the Great Western Railway.
